The Los Angeles Chargers will make their final cuts for their 53-man roster on Tuesday, and they got a head start in it this morning.

According to NFL insider Ian Rapoport, the Chargers have released linebacker Carlo Kemp

Kemp's career with the Bolts started last offseason when he signed with the team; he was then waived at the end of the preseason and signed on with the practice squad. He then signed as a reserve/future contract after the 2022 season.

He had chances to show he belonged, but it never worked out for the former undrafted linebacker.

The 25-year-old has had a rough go in the NFL, starting with the Green Bay Packers, Denver Broncos, went on to the USFL and joined the Pittsburg Maulers, and then with the Chargers.

Kemp had two tackles and one forced fumble in his final preseason game against the San Francisco 49ers.

It's been a tough go for the young linebacker, but hopefully, he can find his niche with another NFL team, and we wish him luck in his next journey.
