The Los Angeles Chargers are entering Week 10 at .500, thanks to their much-needed win against the New York Jets on Monday night. The Bolts put up a spectacular performance on defense, with the offense doing just enough on their end.

However, the third side of the ball, the special teams, did their part, particularly Chargers explosive rookie and punt returner Derius Davis. Due to Davis's amazing punt return touchdown of 87 yards, he earned the AFC Special Team Player of the Week.

If you weren't able to catch the punt return to the house, here's how it went down.

It was a well-earned award for the rookie receiver/punt returner, but he didn't let his teammates go unnoticed, giving them a shoutout via his X/Twitter.

Davis showing love to his other 10 teammates out there goes to show what kind of an unselfish player he is. Yes, he did the work, but the other 10 guys made the right blocks and, most importantly, didn't commit a foul on the play. They played clean football on that play and got the scoring started for the Bolts within the game's first two minutes.

What an amazing return and a good award for the rookie to put in his trophy case. LA will look for more special teams magic this weekend as they host the NFC North-leading Detroit Lions at Sofi Stadium on Sunday.
