Tarik Cohen has been off the football field since Week 3 of the 2020 season. He’s been rehabbing a torn ACL he suffered on a punt return play gone wrong. Cohen had his best season with the Bears in 2018. He rushed for 444 yards on 99 carries and scored three times. He also hauled in 71 passes for 725 yards and five touchdowns.
The Chicago Bears badly missed the versatility of a player like Cohen in 2020 and 2021, and his strength to persevere through adversity is a clear indication of why he won the Ed Block Award.

Ed Block was the head trainer for the Baltimore Colts for many years. But he and his wife dedicated a large portion of their lives to helping less fortunate children in foster homes.
