Kansas City Chiefs defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo recently continued to express his desire to become an NFL head coach again.

On "The Season with Peter Schrager," Spagnuolo opened up a bit more about a question he was asked prior to Super Bowl LVIII: Do you want another shot at a head coaching gig?

Spagnuolo, who holds an overall 11-41 record as head coach for the St. Louis Rams and interim head coach for the New York Giants, says the answer is yes, but he's not exactly chasing it.

"Would I love to do it? Yes," Spagnuolo said. "If that never happens, I'm okay with it."

"I'm so blessed, Pete," he continued. "To have this job I have, to work with the guys I work with, Andy Reid, I mean come on, you've got to be kidding me. So, I don't lose sleep over it, but the answer to the question would be yes, I would. But if it never happens, I'm okay, too."

With the Chiefs' Super Bowl 58 win over the San Francisco 49ers, Spagnuolo became the first coordinator (offensive or defensive) in NFL history to win four Super Bowls. That's about as impressive of a resume as it gets, regardless of his previous head coaching results.

It's honestly shocking, given his success and the way teams rally around him, that Spagnuolo hasn't been offered another head coaching job recently. But it looks like the Chiefs are taking advantage of that by making sure coach Spags is locked up so the team can continue to win Super Bowls.
