The Kansas City Chiefs are about as healthy as you could possibly ask for heading into Week 11 of the 2023 NFL season.

Fresh off the bye week, the team doesn't have any pertinent injuries to speak of. For the second consecutive day, the Chiefs had full attendance among players at practice. Even with nine players listed on the injury report, most of them are only there because they've received treatment. Remember, players who receive treatment for injuries are required to be placed on the injury report by the NFL.

Here's a quick rundown of all of the latest injuries in Kansas City:

Dave Toub discusses Tommy Townsend's injury

Townsend has been listed on the injury report for an extended period of time with a hand injury. While there are a few concerns given his responsibilities, Toub believes he's past the initial hurt of the injury and is back on the right track.

"He's OK," Toub said. "You know, he banged up his hand and his wrist. So, it concerns you a little bit with the holds and obviously catching the punt, and the snaps. But he did that a while back, so now we already (had) a week off and he's moved on from that."

The reason he remains on the injury report, despite being on the mend is because he continues to receive some form of treatment for the injury.

"He's still on the injury report because he wants to keep getting it treated and make sure it's (good)," Toub explained. "It still bothers him a little bit, but it'll be OK."

Basically, the Chiefs are just covering their bases so they don't end up on the wrong side of an NFL investigation like the one currently going on with the Bengals and QB Joe Burrow or the one with the Atlanta Falcons surrounding RB Bijan Robinson.

"We have to put everything on the injury report," Toub said. "So, yeah."
