The Kansas City Chiefs are locked in ahead of the Super Bowl LVIII matchup with the San Francisco 49ers and they're not letting anything distract them. That includes a little trash-talking coming from their opponents.

49ers DE Nick Bosa  lashed out at the Chiefs' offensive tackles last week with a heavy dose of disrespect. Asked if he's seen anything special from them, he said, "They hold a lot." Bosa, of course, notably felt he was wronged in Super Bowl LIV by a missed holding call.

Speaking with KSHB-TV's Aaron Ladd and others, both Taylor and Smith dismissed Bosa's comments.

Asked if he had a response to Bosa's comments, Smith gave a terse, "No."

"It's part of the game, man," Taylor said. "I'm just looking forward to the game on Sunday."

Even former 49ers teammate Charles Omenihu chimed in on Bosa's remarks, playing mediator of sorts. He tends to think that the game nowadays is played toeing the lines.

"Nick is going to say what he's going to say," Omenihu declared. "The game is going to be about playing the white lines. That's just what it's going to be."

You can just tell by the faces of Smith and Taylor that they're both champing at the bit to get out there on the gridiron and make Bosa eat his words. Providing some extra motivation ahead of a big game is a bold move and one that could prove to bite Bosa in the rear.
