Chiefs' Patrick Mahomes enters Week 6 as home underdog for first time in career

Among the slew of marquee matchups on the NFL Week 6 docket is an AFC divisional round rematch between the Buffalo Bills and Kansas City Chiefs

Even before the two teams take the field, history will be made as Chiefs superstar quarterback Patrick Mahomes enters the contest as a home underdog for the first time in his six-year pro career.

Both teams lead their respective divisions at 4-1 and enter Sunday on two-game winning streaks. Buffalo and Kansas City are both 2-0 at home and 2-1 on the road.

Mahomes is coming off of a monster comeback victory on "Monday Night Football" against the Las Vegas Raiders in which he went 29-for-43 with 292 passing yards, four touchdowns (all to Travis Kelce), and 0 interceptions. Bills quarterback Josh Allen was just named the AFC Offensive Player of the Week, after leading Buffalo to a win blowout win over the Pittsburgh Steelers by finishing 20-for-31 with 424 passing yards, four touchdowns, and one interception.

The Chiefs defeated the Bills in last season's AFC divisional round, 42-36 in overtime.
