Chiefs' Travis Kelce shares message to fans criticizing relationship with Taylor Swift

Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce isn't paying attention to NFL fans ragging on him for his relationship with singer-songwriter Taylor Swift.

"Hopefully, everybody realizes that we're just two people in a relationship supporting each other and having fun with it, man. It's nothing more than that," the nine-time Pro Bowler said Wednesday on "The Pat McAfee Show." "No matter how much the world wants to paint a picture and make us the enemy, we just have fun with it, and we enjoy every single bit of it."

Some fans complain about television networks panning to the 12-time Grammy winner too much during games, but their gripes seem like "Champagne Problems."

Per data analyst Jason Pauley, CBS only showed Swift for 44 seconds during the AFC Championship Game, which was less than one percent of the telecast.

The 34-year-old TE thinks fans are just upset the Chiefs are making their fourth Super Bowl appearance in six years.

"I'm having fun with it. The world is having fun with it," Kelce said. "Outside of the cranky NFL fans who don't wanna see the Chiefs win. You know what? We're slowly reeling them in. They're just fighting it right now."

Kelce's play in the postseason has sparked K.C.'s postseason run. He has the most receptions (23) in the playoffs, the second-most receiving yards (262) and is tied for the most receiving TDs (three).

The Chiefs will face the San Francisco 49ers on Feb. 11 in Super Bowl LVIII. As of Monday, FanDuel lists Kansas City as a 1.5-point underdog. However, if Kelce's surge continues, the Chiefs could pull off the upset and become the first team to repeat as champions since the 2004 New England Patriots.
