Carolina Panthers running back Christian McCaffrey threw a touchdown pass in the first quarter of Monday night’s game. In doing so, he joined a select club.

With the touchdown pass, McCaffrey joined Billy Cannon (1962) and Gale Sayers (1965) as the only players with a touchdown pass, six touchdown runs, and six touchdown receptions in the same season.

Cannon played the 1962 season with the Houston Oilers of the AFL. He rushed for seven touchdowns, caught seven and passed for one.

Sayers tossed one touchdown pass for the Chicago Bears in 1965. He backed that up with six receiving touchdowns and a whopping 14 touchdown runs.

McCaffrey, meanwhile, has seven rushing touchdowns and six receiving touchdowns to go along with his one pass.
