Colts could reportedly use both Brett Hundley, Jacob Eason if Carson Wentz unable to play vs. Titans

The Tennessee Titans need to prepare for three different quarterbacks this week.

Indianapolis Colts practice squad quarterback Brett Hundley took the majority of starter reps in Wednesday's practice, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero, and the franchise could use both him and Jacob Eason if Carson Wentz is unable to play Sunday.

Wentz injured both ankles in Sunday's 27-24 loss to the Los Angeles Rams. He remains sore and his status for Week 3 remains unclear.

According to Pelissero, a decision on who starts may not come until Sunday.

Hundley has been with the Colts since July when Wentz underwent surgery on his broken foot. He signed with the practice squad before the start of the regular season.

Hundley has far more experience than Eason. He started nine games for the Green Bay Packers in 2017, going 3-6, completing 60.8% of his passes for 1,836 yards and nine touchdowns against 12 interceptions.

Eason showed his inexperience last week when he threw an interception to Jalen Ramsey on his second passing attempt against the Rams.

Wentz has not participated in practice this week, and it's unclear if he'll hit the field before Sunday's game. However, he could still start even without practicing.
