Many who were around Peyton Manning during his playing career would describe him as being intense.

However, sports media legend Peter King shared a different side of the QB he saw during his time covering the NFL.

King shared the top ten nicest QBs he ever had the pleasure of speaking to during his final article for "Football Morning in America" before his retirement. Manning not only made the list but also earned the top spot. King had the following to say about Manning:

"We've talked about everything under the sun. I called him Chris Mortensen- he used to want me to come to his training camp last so he could download info on the other teams I'd seen."

Other QBs to make King's list with Manning were Cincinnati Bengals' Boomer Esiason, New England Patriots' Tom Brady, Minnesota Vikings' Kirk Cousins, Seattle Seahawks' Geno Smith, New York Giants' Phill Simms, Kansas City Chiefs' Patrick Mahomes, Baltimore Ravens' Lamar Jackson, Atlanta Falcons' Matt Ryan, Dallas Cowboys' Dak Prescott, New Orleans Saints' Drew Brees, and Pittsburgh Steelers' Charlie Batch.
