Colts on track to play Bengals after false positive COVID-19 tests

The Indianapolis Colts feared that they wouldn't be able to play their Week 6 matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals after receiving four positive COVID-19 tests on Friday. Just hours later, their minds were put at ease.

The four positive tests were concluded to be false positives after retesting, and the Colts will open their practice facility as scheduled on Friday afternoon.

Colts owner Jim Irsay tweeted Friday that "All is well," after having a coronavirus scare. He also revealed that he's giving away four tickets to Sunday's game at Lucas Oil Stadium and $1,000 in spending money to one winner.

Indianapolis' false-positive tests were the first COVID-19-related issue the team had encountered since July.

The NFL already has had to change the schedule for multiple teams this season after positive coronavirus test results. With the New England Patriots having another player test positive for the virus on Friday, it seems inevitable that the league will be playing a Week 18.
