A former member of the Washington Commanders has a new home.

According to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero, the Tennessee Titans are signing kicker Michael Badgley, whom the Commanders cut on Sunday.

The Titans also cut both kickers on the current roster ... Caleb Shudak and Trey Wolff, leaving Badgley as the frontrunner to win the job with a week away until the 53-man roster cutdown.

"You know, Mike [Badgley]’s kicked in this league," Rivera said. "He was a hundred percent last year in extra points. I think he was 24-of-28 field goal attempts and a couple of his misses were from 50 yards, so he's got a record. He's a very accomplished player."

Badgley has bounced around the league throughout his five-year career, spending his first three seasons with the Los Angeles Chargers but splitting each of the last two years with multiple teams. In his career, he has made 81.7 percent of his field goals with a long of 59 yards, as well as 96.9 percent of his extra points.

In 12 games with Detroit last season, Badgley made 20 of his 24 field goals and all 33 of his extra points.

While Badgley was unable to unseat Joey Slye (who nailed a 49-yard field goal to beat the Baltimore Ravens with seconds to go Monday night), it seems he now has a very good shot to land with the Titans.
