Injured Washington Commanders defensive end Chase Young Geoff Burke-USA TODAY Sports

Conflicting reports emerge about Chase Young reportedly reaggravating knee injury at Von Miller's pass-rushing camp

Could Washington Commanders' star pass rusher Chase Young have reaggravated his knee injury over the summer? Well, it actually depends on who you believe. At the very least, there is reporting that is suggesting that Washington isn't all that happy with Young after the star pass rusher reportedly sustained an injury in a non-team event.

This, according to NFL reporter Mike Jurecki. He reports that Chase was at the pass-rushing camp put on by Von Miller and he apparently reaggravated an existing knee injury while there.

Now, let's look at the flip side. JP Finlay, who covers the team in Washington, is saying that Young has been with the team since July and there have been "no setbacks" regarding his knee injury.

Chad Ryan, who also covers the team, cited team sources as well.

That's two vs. one when it comes to scoopage, but of course, team sources are going to deny this even if it's true.

So where's the truth?

For what it's worth, Miller's pass-rushing camp was before Washington entered training camp, so this could have happened and the Commanders knew about it... and now team sources are toeing the party line by saying he's with the team and recovering on schedule. Technically, that would be the truth even if he got hurt at the pass-rushing camp.

Jurecki, a veteran NFL reporter,  also isn't backing down from his reporting, so it will be interesting to see when and if the truth on this matter ever comes out.

Knowing how NFL teams operate regarding injuries and knowing the fact that Washington is... well, Washington... we'll probably never know the full truth.
