The Baltimore Ravens knew that they would need to find unique ways to solve their roster holes with a tight cap situation and plenty of needs.

Their latest move only opened up a further need.

When the Ravens traded starting right tackle Morgan Moses to the Jets, they opened up another position of need along the important offensive line. With John Simpson also finding a new home in New York, and Kevin Zeitler a free agent, Baltimore is in a position to replace three offensive linemen over the next few months.

Not exactly an easy thing to solve.

In a deep draft class full of generational talent along the tackle and interior spots, though, the Ravens could solve their concerns within the coming months.

The real question will be how aggressive Baltimore is at acquiring one of those incoming rookies. With the 30th overall pick in April's Draft, and nine total overall, the Ravens could trade up in the first round to acquire one of the top tackles in the class - instead of letting the best available fall to them.

If a trade-up were to happen, Baltimore could look to find a tackle for the right side of the line only. Prospects like Taliese Fuaga and Amarius Mims are expected to solely play on the right side of their NFL careers so a trade-up for one of those two players isn't the worst for Baltimore.

Whether Baltimore gives up assets in both the 2024 and 2025 Draft or looks to move up a smaller amount, it's clear the Ravens understand their need to address the offensive line at tackle and along the interior.

Getting aggressive to acquire one of the best few players in the Draft class might be the way to go.
