Cowboys' Mike McCarthy uses players' baby photos to show 'zero responsibility' for past failures

Nobody needs to remind Dallas Cowboys fans, owner Jerry Jones, or head coach Mike McCarthy that the team hasn't won a Super Bowl in nearly three decades.

That doesn't mean that McCarthy isn't going to keep reminding his players that many of them on the current roster weren't even born when the Cowboys won three Super Bowls in four years from 1992 to 1995.

Among Dallas' star players who weren't born yet at the time of the nearly 30-year-old contest are quarterback Dak Prescott, running backs Ezekiel Elliott and Tony Pollard, and wide receiver CeeDee Lamb on offense.

Their many standout defenders who are under 30 include 23-year-old linebacker Micah Parsons, 24-year-old cornerback Trevon Diggs, and 26-year-old linebacker Leighton Vander Esch.

Punter Bryan Anger (34), new Cowboys wideout T.Y. Hilton (33), kicker Brett Maher (33) and defensive end DeMarcus Lawrence (30) were technically around for the Cowboys' last road playoff win, but it's highly unlikely that any of them were tuning in to watch Emmitt Smith and Troy Aikman help take down the San Francisco 49ers.

Despite finishing the 2022 regular season with a far superior 12-5 record as opposed to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' 8-9 mark, Dallas will be traveling to face Tom Brady and the NFC South-champion Bucs for their wild-card game on Monday night.

To put to rest some of the chatter regarding his job status, the 59-year-old McCarthy and his group of youngsters may have to take down the 45-year-old "GOAT."
