Cris Collinsworth: Bengals QB Joe Burrow must share blame for sacks

The Bengals' offensive line entered the season ranked eighth in the NFL, according to Pro Football Focus , which called the unit the league's most improved. Through two weeks, however, QB Joe Burrow has been sacked 13 times, putting him on pace for 111 sacks.

NBC Sports analyst Cris Collinsworth blames Burrow for some of the sacks.

"He's got to take fewer hits, and I think he has to take a little bit of responsibility and get that sucker out of there every once in a while." he said on radio show "Up and Adams."

Added Collinsworth: "Tom Brady is under 25 sacks every year for a reason because Tom Brady knows how to get rid of the football."

Asked how the Bengals could fix their line, Collinsworth wasn't sure, but he noted they played excellent defenses (Pittsburgh and Dallas) in the first two weeks.

The Bengals are the only NFL team to not hold a lead this season, giving defenses more chances to tee off on Burrow as the Bengals play catch- up.

Perhaps the Bengals' line can jell in Week 3 against the Jets, who have three sacks through two games.
