Dak Prescott's brother blasts Cowboys for not signing QB to extension
As was expected, the Dallas Cowboys let Wednesday's 4 p.m. ET deadline come and go without signing quarterback Dak Prescott to a contract extension. The 26-year-old signal-caller will, instead, play on the $31.4 million franchise tag.
Prescott's brother was displeased with the club's decision.
Tad Prescott took to Twitter to lash out at the Cowboys and then at those who responded to his original tweet:
As for Dak, his NFL status remains attached to the Cowboys for the foreseeable future. Dallas could again use the franchise tag to retain his services for the 2021 campaign.
The situation could become more complicated, though, if the worsening coronavirus pandemic forces the NFL to cancel the upcoming season.
