As teams across the NFL start solidifying their 53-man rosters, the Dallas Cowboys and Miami Dolphins agreed to a trade. ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported the news on Tuesday.

The Dolphins are sending cornerback Noah Igbinoghene to the Cowboys for cornerback Kelvin Joseph. Igbinoghene was a first-round selection in the 2020 NFL Draft while Joseph was taken in the second round the following year.

Joseph totaled 36 tackles and four passes defended during his three seasons in Dallas. Igbinoghene collected 29 stops and an interception while with the Dolphins.

Perhaps new scenery will allow both of these players to grow as defensive backs. It provides each with the opportunity at a fresh start, sometimes a good thing in the NFL.
