Dan Orlovsky: 'This is the best Aaron Rodgers has looked in five years'

Aaron Rodgers looks terrific through three weeks of the 2020 NFL season, and many can't help but take notice. Rodgers has led the Green Bay Packers to a 3-0 record, including a very impressive win over the New Orleans Saints on Monday.

He has been one of the best quarterbacks in the league this season, and current ESPN analyst and former NFL QB Dan Orlovsky couldn't help but rave about the 36-year-old.

Against the Saints, Rodgers completed 21-of-32 passes for 283 yards and three touchdowns. He easily outdueled Drew Brees and pulled out all of his old tricks in the win. In each of the Packers' three games this season, Rodgers has tossed two-plus touchdowns, including a four-TD performance against the Minnesota Vikings to open the year.

Last season when head coach Matt LaFleur took over for Mike McCarthy, the team found success overall, but Rodgers definitely had his struggles. Transitioning to a new system isn't easy, as we've seen with Tom Brady in Tampa Bay, but Rodgers finally is clicking with LaFleur's offense.

Rodgers' success could be in part to the fact that he's doing a little scouting ahead of each game, or it could be because he wants to prove that he's not going anywhere after the team drafted rookie quarterback Jordan Love with its first-round selection in this year's draft.

The Packers signal-caller has, once again, given the team Super Bowl hopes as the NFC's best. However, it won't be easy to come out on top against teams like Russell Wilson and the Seattle Seahawks, but a matchup between the two sides will have to wait until the postseason as they don't meet during the regular season.
