Patriots wide receiver Danny Amendola is now a model? Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports

New England Patriots wide receiver Danny Amendola is, without a doubt, a handsome guy who dresses with impeccable style.

So, it does not come as too much of a surprise that he landed a modeling gig with Ford Models, based out of New York City.

“We are thrilled to represent Danny Amendola, not only one of the top athletes in his field, but also a man of great character,” Sam Doerfler, Men’s Director at Ford Models said in a press release. “Danny’s work ethic, drive, and track record of success help make him the perfect fit to partner with some of the best brands and creative teams in the fashion industry, and we look forward to bringing him those opportunities.”

Those who watched the ESPYs on Wednesday likely saw Amendola arrive on the red carpet looking as smashing as ever.

According to the report, Amendola prepped with GQ to design his look for the awards show. He is the first NFL player to land a deal with Ford Models.

The 31-year-old receiver will begin his fifth season playing with New England in September. Eventually, Amendola’s career in the NFL will wind down. But at least he will have a New York modeling career to fall back on when that time comes.
