Deebo Samuel replaces Rams atop his list of 'most hated' teams

San Francisco 49ers star wideout Deebo Samuel has held a special place in his heart for the Los Angeles Rams throughout his career, as they've ranked atop his list of most-hated teams. However, according to Samuel, the Rams have finally been toppled.

In a recent interview with Zion Olojede of complex.com, Samuel revealed that the Philadelphia Eagles have replaced the Rams on that list -- but not before throwing one more shot at the NFC West rival.

"I mean hey man, we done wiped the Rams so many times," Samuel said. "All the trash talk coming from the Eagles fan base and the players, you just get tired of that."

Following a painfully abrupt exit against the Eagles in the NFC Championship Game over the winter, it's easy to see why Philly would draw Samuel's ire. After all, the former All-Pro still believes the better team lost that day.

After stating as much ahead of Super Bowl LVII, Samuel has dsmaintained that the Eagles won because the 49ers were playing "with 10 people," referencing the loss of the team's only two quarterbacks, Brock Purdy and Josh Johnson, to injury during the NFC title game.

"I ain't going to keep going on about what could've happened and what would've happened, but yeah, it would've definitely been a different outcome," Samuel said.

While most would agree that it is probably time for Samuel and the 49ers to leave the Eagles in the rearview, that will be easier said than done. San Francisco will travel to Philly during the regular season in a matchup that will surely be power-packed with emotion.
