The Denver Broncos had a situation last offseason with their wide receivers. You may remember that they were a team that had two of their wide receivers, Jerry Jeudy and Courtland Sutton, in trade talks. It was weird because they were never traded, and Sean Payton played the whole situation very weirdly.
But anyway, that was then, and this is now. The Broncos have since traded Jeudy to the Cleveland Browns, and based on what we are hearing, Sutton could be next. Sutton did not show up to voluntary offseason workouts, which we discovered meant he was holding out.
Since then, we have heard rumblings that other teams want Sutton.
According to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler, the Broncos have received multiple trade inquiries on wide receiver Courtland Sutton. Fowler also noted that the Broncos do not intend to trade Sutton.
After the year he had last year, Sutton absolutely deserves to be paid. And, sure, the Broncos don't want to trade him, but that doesn't mean they won't. After all, we have heard that before.
