One of the biggest storylines ahead of 2024 NFL’s free agency is where will Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry play next.

Naturally, he's being linked to just about every contending team with a need at running back, with the Baltimore Ravens leading the way as the odds-on favorite to sign him.

The Dallas Cowboys, however, can't be ruled out. Even less so considering Henry's latest real estate transaction.

Per Dallas realtor Leston Eustache's Instagram profile, Henry recently purchased his second Dallas home. And it was no small purchase, either. Eustache, who claims to have sold $50 million worth of properties in 2023, describes this as the "biggest home in price and size of my career."

This doesn't necessarily mean a lot regarding Henry's ultimate NFL destination but he clearly likes it in Texas. He's known to train and live in Dallas during the offseason and it's clear staying in the area could be a unique advantage on the Cowboys' arsenal if they want to land his services.

With that being said, this isn't the first time that a big NFL free agent purchases a home in any given city only for it to not lead to a corresponding signing. For instance, a lot was made about Aaron Rodgers reportedly moving to Nashville two years ago. Consider it the much more expensive version of following teammates on Instagram.

If the Cowboys are to sign him, it will have to be through a strong contract offer and chances are buying a house won't stop Henry from going elsewhere anyways. Keep in mind, Henry's career earnings are near $57M per Over the Cap.

We'll see if Dallas is interested in the first place but for now, don't get your hopes up as Henry is projected by A to Z Sports to sign for a $10 million per year deal. For what it's worth, the Cowboys didn't meet with Henry's agent Todd France at the NFL Scouting Combine, even though he's also Dak Prescott's agent.
