The Los Angeles Chargers made one of the boldest moves of the offseason last night, trading away long-time star wide receiver Keenan Allen. Allen was moved to the Chicago Bears for a fourth-round draft pick after reportedly declining to take a pay cut.

Moving on from Allen due to salary cap restraints had been talked about for months, but things seemed to quiet down of late. The team released Mike Williams and restructured the contracts of defensive stars Joey Bosa and Khalil Mack.

The move shocked many around football, including many of Allen's teammates on the Bolts. Multiple members of the team weren't happy with the decision to trade Allen, taking to social media

One of them was Chargers star safety Derwin James Jr., who made his feelings on the matter known through an emoji.

Allen has been with the Bolts for his entire career and has meant a lot to the organization. He was a major part of their offensive attack this past season, so losing him now leaves a major hole in the Chargers system.

James Jr. likely feels a little bit blindsided by this move, but the new regime is making its changes quickly. The Bolts have a new feel to them, with new head coach Jim Harbaugh and general manager Joe Hortiz now calling the shots.
