DeSean Jackson says Donovan McNabb told teammates 'he didn't deserve' to be Pro Bowler at two positions

Free agent wide receiver DeSean Jackson has been no stranger to controversy during his 14-year NFL career. However, on the "I Am Athlete" podcast this week, Jackson revealed a dust-up he had with former quarterback Donovan McNabb while both were members of the Philadelphia Eagles.

In 2009, Jackson became the first player in NFL history to be selected to the Pro Bowl at two different positions, wide receiver and kick returner. Jackson says after the announcement that his starting quarterback didn't react as one would expect.

"My starting quarterback tells Michael Vick, 'I don't think he should have gotten that; he shouldn't have deserved that,'" Jackson said. "You're telling another quarterback that your receiver that you throw to, that he didn't deserve that."

Jackson spent last season with the Los Angeles Rams and Las Vegas Raiders. In 16 games, Jackson finished with 20 receptions for 454 yards and two touchdowns.

Jackson ranks fourth among active receivers in career receiving yards (11,110).

In 14 seasons with the Eagles, Washington, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Rams and Raiders, Jackson has an average of 17.6 yards per catch, with 58 receiving touchdowns in 176 career games.
