The Detroit Lions will be without starting center Frank Ragnow Sunday against the Chicago Bears, as he was officially ruled out by the team on Friday.

As a result, the Lions will likely turn to Graham Glasgow. The veteran started at center when Ragnow missed the Week 8 matchup with Las Vegas, sliding over from right guard.

The right guard position could belong to rookie Colby Sorsdal, who has made three starts this season. He started in Week 8 at right guard when Glasgow took over at center.

Sorsdal struggled in his last start, on Thanksgiving against the Green Bay Packers, and was benched at halftime. However, Dan Campbell is optimistic about the growth that the rookie has exhibited this season.

"I think with any player, especially a young player, you're gonna need to do that and just focus on the things that you've done well," Campbell said. "And then, here's why you haven't done well, like any player, and it's fundamentals. But as far as his psyche overall, I feel like he's in a good place. I think he understands, it's what we go back to. It's not because you're afraid, it's the fundamentals. It's your pad level, it's your first step, it's pass and then twist, it's snapping with your hands. He knows that, he realizes that. I feel like he's in a good place in that regard and we just keep working on those little things that all young players have to, the fundamentals of your job."
