The NFL Draft has been making its way around the United States since the event left New York City eight years ago, and we now know which city will host it in 2024.

Detroit on Monday was officially awarded the 2024 NFL Draft. The other two finalists for the event were Green Bay and Washington, D.C. The Lions shared a hype video for the event on social media.

The NFL Draft was held in New York City from 1965-2014 until the league decided to begin making it open to a bidding process. Chicago, Philadelphia, Dallas, Nashville and Cleveland are cities that have hosted the draft since it became open for bidding. Las Vegas will host the draft next month and Kansas City in 2023.
