Did Joe Flacco guarantee a Jets win over the Browns?

After an undefeated preseason, reality came crashing down on the New York Jets in Week 1, as they fell to the Baltimore Ravens, 24-9.

Despite the inauspicious start to the season, quarterback Joe Flacco is confident heading into Sunday's contest against the Cleveland Browns

Flacco wasn't able to slay his former team last week, but reminded everyone this week that he basically owns the Browns. While Flacco didn't guarantee a win for the Jets this week, he came close.

A quick look at Flacco's past performances against the Browns proves the veteran's point. The 37-year-old is 17-3 all-time against the Browns. Over those 20 games, Flacco boasts a 61.5 completion percentage with a 27 to 13 touchdown to interception ratio.

However, Flacco's most recent meeting with Cleveland didn't go his way. Flacco went 29-of-56 for 298 yards and an interception in an ugly 12-9 loss in 2018.
