Did Seahawks' Shelby Harris troll Broncos' Russell Wilson after 'MNF' win?

The Seattle Seahawks ended the opening week of the 2022 NFL regular season with a thrilling 17-16 "Monday Night Football" win over the Denver Broncos that featured Broncos head coach Nathaniel Hackett curiously attempting a 64-yard field goal on fourth down after he needlessly let the clock tick down to 20 seconds remaining in regulation.

The matchup was emotional for many reasons. It involved a Seattle homecoming for one-time Super Bowl champion quarterback Russell Wilson, who joined the Broncos from the Seahawks via a March trade that included defensive lineman Shelby Harris, signal-caller Drew Lock and tight end Noah Fant heading to Seattle.

While with the Seahawks, Wilson famously ended press conferences and interviews with his "Go 'Hawks" phrase:

With his new team, however, Wilson has transitioned to a "Let's ride" line:

Harris noticed and seemed to troll Wilson while speaking with NFL Network's James Palmer shortly after the victory.

"We come out here, everyone doubted us, everyone made this about Russ," Harris explained, as TMZ Sports noted. "We made this about the Seattle Seahawks. We came out here, played good ball for four quarters, come out with the 'W.'"

Harris went on to highlight the effort of Seattle's defense:

"That's what happens when you trade one of your D-linemen to the other team," Harris added. "We sit here and make plays, all of us. That's what happens when you get two goal-line stops, right there, a win. Can't draw it up any better than that, man."

Harris was asked what the result meant to him personally.

"All I have to say is: 'Let's ride,'" he responded.

The 1-0 Seahawks next play at the 0-1 San Francisco 49ers in San Francisco's home opener this coming Sunday. Meanwhile, the 0-1 Broncos will host the 0-0-1 Houston Texans that same afternoon.
