The brother of NFL stars Stefon and Trevon Diggs is reportedly being sued over an alleged beating and robbery that occurred in an elevator in a Los Angeles apartment building.

Darez Diggs - also known as "Mar'Sean'' - is the brother of the Dallas Cowboys' star Trevon and the Buffalo Bills' star Stefon - is reportedly named in a suit brought by a man named Christopher Griffith, who is claiming he was beaten and robbed in an attack that involved Darez.

A description of the video via Outkick: "The May 29, 2023, incident was caught on surveillance video at a Los Angeles apartment building. In the video, Darez can be seen outside the elevator seemingly waiting for someone. A man emerges from the elevator and he and Diggs exchange words,"

"The man, now known to be Christopher Griffith, gets back in the elevator and tries to close the doors, only for Diggs to hold the elevator open while two men join him. The two apparent accomplices then begin attacking the man as Diggs looks on."

TMZ Sports is reporting that L.A. police were called to the scene of the incident, but that the suspects fled before they arrived.

In a lawsuit filed this week, Griffith said the attack has left him with pain, suffering and emotional distress. He’s also suing Darez for $100,000 in jewelry and other property he claims was stolen from him during the incident.

He’s suing the owner of the apartment complex for unspecified damages as well.

Darez Diggs was once a pro football player, having spent the 2020 XFL season with the Los Angeles Wildcats as a defensive back. He played college football at Marion University before transferring to the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

Diggs now runs a "lifestyle fashion'' company.

A spokesperson for the LAPD told TMZ authorities are still investigating the elevator attack, and no arrests have been made.

Trevon Diggs is an All-Pro cornerback with the Cowboys who was injured earlier this season. Stefon Diggs is a standout receiver with the Bills who plays on Sunday in a second-round playoff game against the Chiefs.

This "Cowboys family news'' continues an odd run this weekend as family members of Dak Prescott, CeeDee Lamb and Micah Parsons have all made headlines while expressing their negative views on the Cowboys world ... views that do not necessarily represent those of the actual players.
