Dolphins lose another for Wild Card Game

The Miami Dolphins were already entering their Wild Card game short-handed. The team announced earlier in the week that third-string quarterback Skylar Thompson would be starting against the Buffalo Bills. The Dolphins communicated even more bad news for the offense this weekend.

According to NFL insider Armando Salguero, the Dolphins will be without starting offensive lineman Liam Eichenberg.

The Dolphins needed to elevate a few players to the active roster with all their injuries. According to Aaron Wilson with KPRC, the Dolphins elevated offensive guard Lester Cotton and running back La’Mical Perine.

The loss of Eichenberg will be felt against the Bills. The Bills have one of the best pass-rushing defenses in the league. Thompson will have a heck of a time trying to get the ball out in time against a ferocious Bills defense. We’ll see what McDaniel has planned to try and put up points against the Bills.
