The Miami Dolphins bolstered its wide receiver room this week as it added former three-time Pro Bowler Odell Beckham Jr. to a one-year deal worth $8.25 million.

Beckham played with the Baltimore Ravens last season where he caught 35 passes for 565 yards and three touchdowns aiding the team to reach the AFC Championship Game.

Recent injuries have slowed the once-dominant Beckham, who was considered to be one of the best wide receivers in the NFL during his first six seasons in the league. But when healthy, Beckham has been an effective player which was proven in 2021 when he was acquired by the Los Angeles Rams midway through the season and was a key player in leading the team to a Super Bowl victory.

Miami will look for Beckham to have a similar impact as a reliable veteran target in an already explosive offense led by Tua Tagovailoa, Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle.

Last season Tagovailoa led the NFL in passing with 4,624 yards with Hill leading the league in receiving with 1,799 yards. Waddle himself also posted an impressive year with 1,014 yards and four touchdowns.
