Dolphins' Tyreek Hill claps back at Cowboys star Micah Parsons over 'cub' comments

Tyreek Hill's play this season can speak for itself. Yet, that hasn't stopped the Miami Dolphins wideout from engaging in some friendly trash talk with Dallas Cowboys star Micah Parsons.

Following an explosive 215-yard, two-touchdown performance against the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 1, Hill — commonly referred to as the "cheetah" — anointed himself a lion. Hill's comments struck a chord with Parsons, who took to his podcast, " The Edge with Micah Parsons," to throw shade in Hill's direction.

"Tyreek, please do never say you’re a lion again. Just stick to the cheetah," Parsons said. "To me, you'll be a cub, brother.”

Hill then clapped back at Parsons' comments during the latest episode of the "It Needed To Be Said" podcast, marking the calendar for a Christmas Day matchup between the Dolphins and the Cowboys.

"Let me tell you something real quick, Micah Parsons," Hill said. "When we play you December 25th, on Christmas Day, I have a present for you, my boy."

Hill's good-spirited back-and-forth with Parsons is nothing new, with the seven-time Pro Bowler recently putting Parsons on notice for his ability to seal the edge in the run game.

Both Hill and Parsons have been brilliant to start the season, leading their respective teams to undefeated starts. Through two weeks of play, Hill ranks third in the NFL with 255 receiving yards, while Parsons ranks within the top five for defenders in both pressures (8) and sacks (3.0).

Among the nine 2-0 squads in football, the Dolphins and Cowboys look like early title contenders to begin the season. If the two clubs continue to trend in the right direction, their Christmas Day showdown should be a gift for all viewers.
