Domonique Foxworth: Dak Prescott should 'get the hell out of' Dallas

While Deshaun Watson has gotten all of the attention from fans and the media due to requesting a trade from the Houston Texans, there is another Texas quarterback whose future is less than certain. Dak Prescott is set to enter free agency, and while it is widely believed that he will re-sign with the Cowboys, ESPN analyst and former NFL player Domonique Foxworth says that Prescott should "get the hell out of" Dallas.

"I feel so disrespected on behalf of Dak Prescott," Foxworth said on "Get Up."  "He's been tremendous for this team, had big moments in the playoffs, carried them throughout the regular season, and they seem to give him less and less support the longer he's there... I think Dak's career could be much greater than it is now if he goes to another situation where they have good weapons and a better defense."

Foxworth mentioned the Denver Broncos and Washington Football Team as possible destinations for Prescott and argued that a split between the Cowboys and their quarterback "may turn out to be what's best for both parties." While the Cowboys have been linked to several quarterbacks, most notably Matthew Stafford, there has been no serious indication that the team has any interest in moving on from Dak.

Dallas failed to reach a long-term deal with Prescott last summer, allowing the quarterback to potentially hit the free-agent market after the season. Prescott was signed to a $31.4 million franchise tag last season, and the team could use another tag on him in 2021.
