The Seattle Seahawks welcomed a familiar face back to practice this week, as Super Bowl XLVIII champion and three-time Pro Bowler Michael Bennett has been visiting to assist coach Pete Carroll and his staff as they prepare for this season.

In just a brief span of time, the influence of Bennett's return to Seattle's practice field is becoming apparent, as defensive tackle Dre'Mont Jones revealed that the retired defensive end's presence has already begun to leave a meaningful imprint.

"It's been great. I've been learning a lot by myself," Jones said. "He's pointing out things that I haven't necessarily noticed in this recent past. It's been a blessing having a Hall of Famer like that in the room helping you out."

Additionally, when questioned about his viewpoint on Bennett's coaching approach, Jones revealed that although Bennett holds high expectations for the players, the defensive tackle is of the opinion that the former Seahawk could find success if he were to pursue a career in that field.

"Very demanding. I can see him being a coach one day whenever he decides to. He's definitely a natural at it," Jones said.

Given the fact that Seattle's coaching staff comprises several former players who were once were under Carroll's guidance—such as assistant defensive backs coach DeShawn Shead, defensive assistant/defensive line coach Will Tukuafu, and defensive assistant Neiko Thorpe—it becomes apparent that the Super Bowl champion has the potential to transition into a coaching role within the organization, should he choose to pursue that area in the future.
