Eagles' Brandon Graham blasts Giants' Julian Love over Nick Sirianni comments

The Philadelphia Eagles are preparing to face the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LVII but have some time to rip the division-rival New York Giants this week.

Shortly after Giants safety Julian Love offered some interesting comments about Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni, Philadelphia defensive end Brandon Graham responded while speaking with reporters.

"People always got something to say when they’re at home," Graham remarked, as shared by Charean Williams of Pro Football Talk. "I just know that coach Sirianni — it don’t matter — what he did last year, with a team that nobody thought was gonna do much, he ended up getting us to the playoffs. Then for his second year, that’s what you’re supposed to do — you’re supposed to get better, bring players in to do exactly what you need them to do and we did that."

Specifically, Love suggested during a Thursday appearance on the NFL Network "Good Morning Football" program that Sirianni was lucky to coach a talented Eagles roster and wasn't responsible for the club's success this season.

"He’s in for a free ride right now. You guys could coach this team," Love told the "GMFB" hosts about Sirianni. Love also indicated he wasn't a fan of Sirianni's sideline antics which went viral during Philadelphia's 38-7 smashing of New York in the playoff game between the NFC East teams last month.

Graham essentially "shushed" Love during Thursday's Super Bowl media event.

"A lot of people just mad because of what happened this season and I understand," Graham continued. "It definitely carried no weight because coach proved himself each and every day and if you’re not in here, you wouldn’t really know that. It’s just all lip service."

The Eagles crushed the Giants 48-22 at MetLife Stadium back in December and then earned a second-straight win over Big Blue in a Week 18 game that meant nothing for New York. Additionally, the Eagles are looking to win their second Super Bowl title since February 2018. The Giants have earned just a single postseason victory over the past decade.

Score this round 10-8 in favor of Graham.
