Eagles' Dallas Goedert is happy with his 'Angry Run' award

Prior to last week, Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert was on a run of uninspired games. Then he flew to California to play the Rams and had his first, “Angry Run.”

The Angry Run Award is the brainchild of NFL Network’s Kyle Brandt. As one of four hosts of Good Morning Football, Brandt shines a light on the league’s most determined ball carriers each week. Goedert is the second tight end to win the award this year, following Bills tight end Dawson Knox who took the honor in Week 4.

Goedert had his best game of the season last week. with eight catches for 117 yards and his first score of the 2023 season. Recipients of the Angry Run award score a heavy-metal-themed T-shirt and a trophy known as the “Scepter.”

Eagles fans hope to see more angry runs (and touchdowns) when the team travels to play the Jets at MetLife stadium on Sunday afternoon.
