The Philadelphia Eagles have released their first injury report ahead of this week’s clash against the Dallas Cowboys.

Players to keep an eye on

The good news is that there are no alarm bells ringing just yet. Bradley Roby is still unable to practice due to his shoulder injury. At this point, the team should’ve likely placed him on IR, but it’s probably hard to know how long he’d be out for. It’s a shame given that he was brought in for the sole purpose of replacing Avonte Maddox and has barely been able to do so.

He was joined on the sidelines by Boston Scott and Grant Calcaterra on Wednesday. Neither are key players for the Birds.

This does mean we might get our first look at ‘Albert O’, who the Eagles traded for over the Summer. The former Broncos TE has all the size and athleticism needed to fill a depth role behind Dallas Goedert at TE, but has been a scratch for most of the year.

Questionable candidates

The Eagles do have a flurry of players marked as questionable after Wednesday’s practice, but the only notable addition here is Cam Jurgens. His practice window was activated today having been sat on IR since week 4 with a foot sprain.

There is a chance that Jurgens is ready to go for Sunday, but with a Bye on the horizon, it might behoove the team to ensure he’s fully rested before making his return in a Super Bowl rematch with the Chiefs. It will be great to have him back, regardless.

Jalen Carter was also a full participant after leaving Sunday’s game temporarily with an injury. That’s good news for the 2023 DROY candidate.
