Eagles' Jason Kelce calls brother's Taylor Swift rumors: '100% true'

As rumors swirl that Kansas City Chiefs star TE Travis Kelce is dating pop superstar Taylor Swift, his brother confirmed the rumors. Sort of.

The Eagles All-Pro center went on Philadelphia radio on the "WIP Morning Show" and addressed the Swift dating rumors. After saying he doesn't follow his reality-dating show star brother's love life, Jason Kelce said he believed the rumors were "100% true." Then he laughed.

Travis Kelce revealed that he tried and failed to give Swift his phone number on a friendship bracelet when her Eras Tour visited Kansas City's Arrowhead Stadium. She clearly knew he was trouble when he walked in. Kelce was able to shake it off, but since then, he's been coy about their possible relationship, telling NFL+, "I'm not going to talk about my personal life."

After all, that would be bad karma, especially with a woman who's beyond his wildest dreams.

Fans know all too well that Swift sneaks Easter eggs and cryptic messages into her lyrics, and she may have done that with her style last week. This week, in her latest welcome to New York, Swift wore an opal "love pendant" — and opal is the Kansas City tight end's birthstone.

Entertainment Tonight reported that the pair was not dating but "hanging out," and neither side will confirm or deny the dating — or hanging out — rumors. That's didn't stop CBS broadcaster Ian Eagle for dropping a T-Swift reference after Kelce's first TD in his last seven regular-season games, dating back to December 2022.

Why would Jason Kelce confirm them? One, because he knows it will tweak his younger brother, not that they have bad blood between them. Two, he's got a documentary that just premiered on Amazon Prime Sept. 12.

Or perhaps he's simply inspired by Swift's own lyrics. It's a love story, Jason. Baby, just say yes.
