The Philadelphia Eagles look to remain undefeated this season and unbeaten all-time against the New York Jets Sunday in East Rutherford, N.J.

The Eagles (5-0) have swept all 12 previous meetings against the Jets dating back to 1973, outscoring New York by a 335-195 margin in the process.

Philadelphia quarterback Jalen Hurts also brings a significant streak into this contest against the Jets (2-3), having won his last 11 road starts in the regular season.

The Eagles improved to 3-0 away from home this year with a 23-14 victory over the Los Angeles Rams last Sunday.

Hurts, who passed for 303 yards and a touchdown and rushed for 72 yards and a TD against the Rams, has not lost on the road since Nov. 28, 2021. That loss happened to be at MetLife Stadium, although it was against the building's other tenants, the New York Giants.

Hurts' road streak is the longest in Eagles history and matches the third-longest by any NFL quarterback since the 1970 merger, trailing only Joe Montana (18 games) and Tom Brady (13).

A.J. Brown caught six passes for 127 yards -- his third straight game over 125 -- and Dallas Goedert made eight grabs for 117 yards and a touchdown against the Rams. DeVonta Smith was held to one catch for 6 yards.

Rookie Jalen Carter and Haason Reddick each had two sacks to lead the Philadelphia defense, with Reddick's coming on back-to-back snaps to end a fourth-quarter drive by Los Angeles.

One red flag for the Eagles is the red zone, where they have scored just eight touchdowns on 19 trips inside the 20 despite the success of the "Brotherly Shove."

"I think we're still growing and we're still building as a team and honestly feel that every other team in the NFL right now is doing the same thing," Hurts said. "We just want to continue the steady climb of being eager every day to get better and being intentional with our time at the building and on the field and pulling the most out of ourselves."

The Jets are coming off a gritty-not-pretty 31-21 win at Denver that gave offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett an emotional victory over his former team.

Breece Hall broke off a 72-yard touchdown run, and Bryce Hall clinched the outcome with a 39-yard fumble return TD with 29 seconds left. Quincy Williams punched out the fumble by Broncos quarterback Russell Wilson.

Williams ranks among the league leaders with 38 solo tackles and will be key to stopping the Eagles' run game.

"Do you ever see a cheetah just run as soon as it sees its prey?" fellow linebacker C.J. Mosley said of Williams. "Nah, he is calculating every single step. He is trying to see which way he is going, and as soon as he sees that spot, he is hunting this season."

Fullback Nick Bawden (calf), cornerback Brandin Echols (hamstring) and special teams captain Justin Hardee (hamstring) did not practice for the Jets Wednesday.

Eagles cornerback Darius Slay (knee), safety Justin Evans (knee) and defensive tackle Marlon Tuipulotu (triceps) did not practice Wednesday.
