Eagles star left tackle goes viral at his wedding

Jordan Mailata has made a career out of surprising people.

The 26-year-old offensive lineman worked his way up from seventh-round afterthought to one of the better starting left tackles in the NFL in three seasons. And now, he continues to surprise with what’s become a not-so-hidden talent: his singing voice.

Mailata went viral over the weekend after serenading his new wife, Niki Ikahihifo-Bender, with a rendition of Stevie Wonder’s “Isn’t She Lovely” while she was dancing with who is presumably her father.

Mailata’s affinity for singing and music dates back to his days at Condell Park High School in New South Wales, Australia, when he entered an X-Factor-like singing competition with classmate Rachel Small, whose partner dropped out one day before the performance, per the New York Post.

His wedding wasn’t the first time Mailata publicly showcased his singing chops recently. The ex-Australian rugby star made an appearance on Season 7 of “The Masked Singer” in 2022. He made it through two weeks of the competition, singing Bon Jovi’s “Wanted Dead or Alive” and “Perfect” by Ed Sheeran, before being eliminated during the third week in which he sang MKTO’s “Classic.”

The 6-foot-8, 365-pound Mailata also recorded a Christmas album last year along with fellow Eagles offensive linemen Jason Kelce and Lane Johnson, plus ex-Eagles linebacker Connor Barwin.
