The Los Angeles Chargers have had a very frustrating season and one that not many expected. It has seen them drop multiple close games and even led them to fire former head coach Brandon Staley.

With the Bolts eliminated from playoff contention, they just have to finish out the last few games of the season. But they are in an interesting place over the last two games since they play two divisional opponents.

This weekend they are heading to Denver to take on the Broncos, and then they welcome the Kansas City Chiefs to L.A. in the final week of the season. Both the Broncos and Chiefs are fighting for their playoff lives, so the Chargers have a chance to play spoiler.

New Chargers quarterback Easton Stick revealed what the team's goal is to end the year, despite not playing for anything.

"When you do that, obviously, there's a ton of pride. This matters to a lot of people," Stick added. "Not just in this building — but especially in this building — it matters a lot," Stick added. "We're going out there to get better on the field here and go out on Sunday to win."

Losing the next two games may be better for the Chargers' upcoming draft pick, but there are plenty of veterans in the locker room who want to win. Some players are free agents, so strong performances could help land them better contracts as well.

Players also want to get a win for interim head coach Giff Smith. Star edge rusher Khalil Mack gave some insight into this.

"It will be super dope. A super dope experience," Khalil Mack said. "It doesn't feel like it's far from our reach. If we play for each other, we feel like we can get it done."

This is a chance to finish the year strong as a team. It's put-up or shut-up time for the Bolts, and it'll be interesting to see how they come out over the last two weeks.
