The trade of Stefon Diggs to the Houston Texans has attracted a lot of media attention. With the help of the veteran wide receiver, the Texans are expected to do more in the coming time.

Analysts like Stephen A. Smith and Skip Bayless have already claimed the Texans are the best team in the state of Texas, surpassing the Dallas Cowboys. Now, Emmanuel Acho has chimed in stating that the Texans are the second-best team in the AFC, adding that only the Kansas City Chiefs are ahead of them.

Lack of moving pieces in the AFC teams. but because of continuity in one team, I have them jumping all the way to my top five. Now, if you think about it. You got the Dolphins at five, you got the Ravens at four, you got the Bengals at three. How about the Texans, to me they are the second-best team only behind the Kansas City Chiefs. Emmanuel Acho said

After the trade, multiple opinions did rounds that only the Houston Texans could come close to the Kansas City Chiefs. Claims even went around that CJ Stroud would be the only player to challenge the legacy of the quarterback Patrick Mahomes, with Acho not refuting the possibility.

Emmanuel Acho feels CJ Stroud will get better in the coming season

In his further discussion, Emmanuel Acho claimed that CJ Stroud will get better in the coming seasons. He added that besides Stroud, the head coach DeMeco Ryans will also provide his best in the coming time. To top that, the inclusion of wide receiver Stefon Diggs will only help them flourish in the coming season.

The addition of Stefon Diggs fosters the continuity among the offensive coordinators. CJ Stroud is only gonna get better. DeMeco Ryans is only gonna get better. Nico Collins now has to go from wide receiver one to wide receiver two. Defensively you have another beast... I think the Texans made all the changes to jump onto the second seed in the AFC . Stefon Diggs is already gearing up for the next season. In a short video clip shared by the Texans’ X page, the WR was seen saying that he was running out of patience to get back to gridiron in the coming season. It is to be seen whether he manages to perform as expected.
