FOX Sports' Erin Andrews has been around the sports world for quite some time as one of the premiere sideline reporters, sportscasters, and TV personalities. She continues to be a great representation of women in the world of sports and has become a role model to many young aspiring women.

However, things weren't always easy for EA as she explained a moment when she cried while on the job when proposed with a question from a listener of her podcast 'Calm Down' with Charissa Thompson. During the show, Andrews recalled a time when she was a 19-20-year-old aspiring journalist who was freelancing for an Orlando-based media outlet that wanted sound from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

“A particular player was so nasty to me,” Andrew recalled. “He physically turned his back away from me in the middle of his scrum. He also told me to go back, rehearse my question, and come back when I was ready. I was mortified.

“I instantly started having tears come down my face, and two players in particular, Derrick Brooks and John Lynch, saw it, pulled me over, and said, ‘What do you need?’”

Now with it being the Buccaneers back when they had Derrick Brooks and John Lynch on the team there really is only one player back then that would fit the mold enough to make a young woman cry while she is attempting to do her job - Warren Sapp.

I could be wrong, but it seems fitting for how Sapp handled his business back in the day. Either way, EA didn't name the player despite her remembering exactly what happened, and clearly it wasn't so detrimental as she will ultimately go down in the history books for her reporting and sportscasting.
