The Las Vegas Raiders are wasting one of their star players' potential Hall of Fame career.

Davante Adams is one of the best players in the NFL; forget the best receiver convo. He is the best receiver in the league because he does great things consistently every year and has done it longer than Ja'Marr Chase and Justin Jefferson.

He is truly one of the greatest receivers of this era, and that is a true statement, no matter what your opinion is on him after his recent comments on needing the ball more. He got the ball more, with 12 targets on Sunday, and the offense still didn't work. So, it's safe to say it likely will never work in Las Vegas as long as Josh McDaniels is the head coach.

In a way, you could say the Raiders are wasting his talents. One ESPN analyst feels the same way but even took it a step further.

"He should have to be traded. His 'Hall of Fame' career is being wasted right now. Davante Adams is a Hall of Famer..he is trending towards being a Hall of Famer. He is being wasted in Las Vegas right now," Dan Orlovsky of ESPN said.

I'm sure a lot of Raiders fans feel the same way, too. It's hard not to see what the Raiders are doing, knowing the talent they have, and not think they are wasting his talent. The Raiders likely won't trade him, as Adam Schefter reported; they aren't looking to trade him before the trade deadline.

However, if things get worse from here or even stay the same, I may ask for a trade if I'm Davante Adams.
