Ex-Eagles fan Kenny Pickett was huge fan of former Philly QB
Kenny Pickett won't be rooting for the Eagles this time.
Earlier this week, the Steelers' rookie quarterback told reporters that he grew up an Eagles fan. The lowly Steelers (2-5) meet the unbeaten Eagles (6-0) on Sunday in Philadelphia.
"It's full circle. I've got memories going back to when I was like four or five years old. I lived close by there, so definitely excited to have my first time playing there," said Pickett, a New Jersey native.
Pickett was a big Donovan McNabb fan, watching him lead the Eagles to four straight NFC Championship games and a Super Bowl in the early 2000s.
Pickett must limit his interceptions -- he has seven in four games -- if he wants to give his team a shot at defeating the Eagles.
The Steelers are 29-47-3 all time against Philadelphia and haven't won in Philly since 1965, according to CBS's Aditi Kinkhabwala.
Will Pittsburgh fall to 2-6 or deliver the upset of the season? Oddsmakers say the Steelers are a double-digit 'dog.
