Ex-Eagles WR DeSean Jackson interested in Philly reunion

Fourteen-year veteran DeSean Jackson hasn't played in the NFL since last season. However, even at 35 years old, the three-time Pro Bowl wideout believes he has something left in the tank and is eager to return to the field.

At Thursday's "I Am Athlete" podcast tour event in Philadelphia, Jackson dismissed the idea that he's hung up his cleats for good.

"Hell nah, I ain't retired," Jackson said. "I'm a free agent, and ready to go."

When asked if he had a particular team in mind he'd like to play for, Jackson said the Eagles would be number one on his wish list.

The Eagles drafted Jackson in the second round of the 2008 NFL Draft. Jackson made an immediate impact with his electric, big-play abilities, earning three Pro Bowl nods over his first six seasons with the Birds.

Amid bizarre rumors that he was involved with a gang, the Eagles released Jackson after the 2013 season, only to bring him back in 2019 for two more seasons.

Jackson's 6,512 yards over his eight seasons in Philadelphia ranks him third in Eagles' franchise history, behind only Pete Retzlaff (7,412) and Hall of Famer Harold Carmichael (8,978).

Last season, Jackson split the year with the Los Angeles Rams and Las Vegas Raiders. Over 16 regular season games, Jackson recorded 20 catches for 454 yards and two touchdowns.
