The Falcons made a roster move ahead of their tilt with the Titans, signing defensive lineman LaCale London to their 53-man roster. In a corresponding move, they waived defensive lineman Eli Ankou.

London is a 26-year-old undrafted free agent out of Western Illinois. He had been on the Falcons practice squad and was elevated to the active roster for the last two games.

This past Sunday, London stood out against the Bucs, notching three tackles — one of which went for a loss — and recovered a fumble. That was enough to make him a permanent piece of the roster moving forward.

The Falcons defensive line depth has been a strength of the team all season, but you can never have enough. With Ta’Quon Graham seemingly no longer part of the rotation, expect London to continue to get some burn in a reserve role, especially if he keeps performing as he did against the Buccaneers.
