Falcons owner Arthur Blank donates $200 million to Children's Healthcare of Atlanta hospital
While Arthur Blank is facing backlash after his Atlanta Falcons started the 2020 campaign 0-5 with a 23-16 loss to the Carolina Panthers on Sunday, the 78-year-old made a generous donation to the community recently.
The Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation gifted the Children's Healthcare of Atlanta hospital with a $200 million donation, which is the largest donation in Children's Healthcare of Atlanta history.
The hospital will include one tower with two wings and additional operating rooms, specialty beds and diagnostic equipment to meet patient needs, according to WSB-TV.
The hospital isn't expected to open until 2025.
